Cornwall Engagement Session
I was thrilled to photograph this Cornwall Engagement session recently for Josephine and Brendan. I couldn’t think of a more romantic place these days, with the sea as it ebbs and flows, waves breaking on the dramatic and rugged coastline. Cornwall is truly a remarkable place and I am lucky to call it home, and even more lucky if I can photograph love here too.
When Josephine and Brendan first reached out to me, we had tossed back and forth a few location ideas, they weren’t entirely sure of where to take photos, but one thing was definite, they wanted a beautiful location. We chatted about many different and beautiful places within England and Scotland. The list of photogenic places is endless here. They eventually added that they wanted the coastline in their photos after contemplating mountains, and I have photographed a fair share of mountains, so I loved the idea. After mulling it over, we headed for the Cornish Coast to enjoy its raw beauty and had a bit of history thrown in as well, such as some tin mines. I liked the mix of the landscape with some historical ruins. We ventured out into the early evening and made our way around the coastline. The sun was out, with a slight breeze and barely a person in sight. They had both never been to this part of the country before, so I found it to be a fun adventure I could also join them on. I like to play tour guide and I was excited to show them one of my favourite places. Josephine and Brendan were really sweet and kind souls and it was a pleasure to hang out with them and show them what I can call my home. Thank you for bringing me along on this fun adventure.
