Edinburgh Elopement at St. Anthony’s Chapel
Karlie & Tim
Scotland is many things, and beautiful is at the top of the list. I tend to photograph many of my elopements and weddings in the wilds of Scotland, but sometimes I get to do things little bit differently such as this Edinburgh Elopement at St. Anthony’s Chapel. This spot is so beautiful as it overlooks the cityscapes of Edinburgh, but also nestled in the park to offer a little bit of that Scottish wild feeling. Karlie and Tim eloped from the US, and held their outdoor ceremony at St. Anthony’s Chapel, which included their own vows they wrote out to each other prior to the day, a hand-fasting ceremony and then the most fun- a jumping the broom celebration followed by a dance! We ventured into the hills of Holyrood Park before wandering into the City of Edinburgh to mix it up a little bit. It’s always fun to have an explore around, especially when I get to take a couple with me as well. We had the best time going through the streets, taking in the views. I am so thankful to have been included in their intimate day, just the two of them. Thank you for letting me be your third wheel guys!
