Beautiful Forest Wedding at La Garriga de Castelladral
Amanda and Rob flew all the way from Los Angeles, with their closet friends and family to celebrate their special day by having a beautiful forest wedding at La Garriga de Castelladral. I hadn’t been to this part of Spain before, but from the moment I had first spoken to Amanda and Rob, I couldn’t wait to be a part of their day. This masia is located in the beautiful Catalan countryside and they host many different events aside from weddings at La Garriga Castelladral, with a strong focus on connection with oneself and with nature. I knew it was going to be a perfect and relaxed vibe to the wedding day. Their ceremony took place in the forest, which was the perfect setting for the outdoor nuptials. Amanda walked down the aisle to Max Richter’s The Nature of Daylight, and let me tell you, it was hard to keep back the tears. She looked absolutely stunning in a Jenny Yoo dress accompanied by her father.
The ceremony was relaxed, beautiful and full of love. Rob was nervous ahead of the day, he couldn’t believe he was about to marry his best friend. Their close friend Darren officiated the ceremony, which brought such a personal element to their ceremony. I truly enjoyed being there to capture their special day. Amanda and Rob are such warm and inviting individuals, and allowed me into their circle for the day. I felt like a part of their family from the moment I met them. The rest of the evening was enjoyed overlooking the Catalan countryside under festoon lighting, enjoying delicious food and a dance party shortly after. The festivities went into the early morning hours and I am so thankful to have been there to witness it.
