Adventurous Pre Wedding in Iceland | Jen + Aaron
I felt lucky to be able to return to one of my favorite places after a couple of years to photograph Jen and Aaron’s Iceland Pre-Wedding shoot. I love Iceland for its amazing winter light and otherworldly landscape. The shoot consisted of two days on the south coast towards the beautiful Jökulsárlón. Aaron is a pilot in China, and visiting the well-known plane wreck was one of his top picks for locations. Last time I was in Iceland there was no parking lot at the entrance and you did not have to the walk to the site. While I did notice a lot had changed in Iceland since my last visit, the beauty remained the same. You cannot help but be in awe of its rugged and raw beauty. The weather is always unpredictable in Iceland, and we were fortunate enough to be blessed with all sorts, rain, sun, snow and moody days. Jen and Aaron were up for the adventure and endured everything Iceland had tossed our way. What is great about Pre-wedding shoots is that the pressure if off from working it into your wedding timeline. You have the freedom to take as little or as much time as you want to get the results you are after. Iceland is one of those amazing places, where its easy to get swept away with the landscape, however being able to experience it with someone you love, makes it all that much better. Jen and Aaron were both thrilled with being able to view the sites and spend time with each other. After our time together, they ventured off around the island for more adventure. I was happy to have been able to show them the beauty of the south coast of Iceland and fortunate to have been able to capture their intimate moments along the way.
