Wedding at Chateau de Redon | Kate & Geoff
I was so excited when Kate & Geoff contacted me to photograph their Wedding at Chateau de Redon in France. They reached out to me before the pandemic, so ultimately, the wedding had to be postponed for nearly 3 years. Words can not express how thankful I was for the both of them during this tough time. They stuck with me and I am so grateful I was able to continue on the journey with them. During the wait, Geoff and Kate became parents to a beautiful baby girl named Fiadh Bloom. So, as they gathered with their loved ones at Chateau de Redon, it was not only a wedding but also a special family affair.
Finally, the long-awaited day arrived, and we were able to celebrate their love with their closest friends and family. This enchanting property has a rich history dating back to the 15th century and is nestled in the serene Périgord region of the Dordogne. The weather was perfect, with warm sunshine bathing us throughout the day. The ceremony took place under the shade of beautiful trees, with Kate and little Fiadh making a heartwarming entrance down the aisle together. Afterwards, we enjoyed a delightful dinner overlooking a picturesque valley adorned with nut trees. As the sun slowly set, it created a magical ambiance for this intimate celebration.
It was truly a family affair, filled with love, laughter, and the joy of finally coming together after such a long wait. The summer florals added a touch of elegance, complimenting the natural beauty of the surroundings. This wedding was a testament to the resilience and commitment of Geoff and Kate, who patiently waited for their special day. It was a summer celebration that will be cherished for years to come, filled with precious memories and heartfelt moments.
